Heavenly Path Art Gallery Newsletter Feb 2025

HPAG Newsletter February 2025

Hello, everyone.

With spring just a few weeks away, my body is eager for a temperature increase as I approach 62 years old. I might be older in body but in Spirit I feel like a spring chicken. Creative ideas are floating in my mind.

I recently began mastering a new medium, egg tempera.

I am thrilled to be discovering the applications of such a wonderful medium. Like a mad alchemist, I am mixing it with so many different mediums, and it appears that this is bringing everything to a new and surprisingly improved level.

I intend to share my findings with those of you who are fortunate or unfortunate enough to be my students.

I am quite surprised. I expected my traditional art skills to suffer as a result of my previous facial palsy experience and digital art obsession, but I believe I am in a much better place than I have ever been. Strange. It appears that my physicality is very focused, and I've discovered that creating relationships between the various mediums is very rewarding, as well as speeding up the creative process to my advantage.

There's some news now.

The virtual reality gallery experience has been put on hold for a while.

I missed seeing the joy on your faces as you discovered new works while visiting the Glastonbury gallery.

This year, I intend to devote more time to teaching, so don't pass up the opportunity to join the Glastonbury School of Art. I always have something new to teach.

Finally, we are planning an art exhibition for all of the students at the gallery. There will be more news soon.

I sincerely hope and pray that your lives are inspiring, creative, and joyful, and I hope to see you all.

Best wishes.

Ioannis Antoniadis
